Lake Kaco is a lake that has flared in Kerinci Regency, Jambi. It is precisely in Lempur Village, Gunung Raya District. This lake is in the Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS) area which is a UNESCO heritage site. The lake has an area of about 90 square meters and has a depth that is not yet known. The lake of kaco can emit bright light at night, the light is getting brighter on the full moon night.

Access to Lake Kaco

Lake Kaco can be reached by land starting from Jambi City to the Full River. The distance between Jambi to Sungai Penuh is around 500 km with a travel time of 10-11 hours. Furthermore, from the Full River, proceed to the nearest village, Lempur Village, Gunung Raya District, in 45 minutes with four-wheeled vehicles or two-wheeled vehicles. After that, continue by walking through the forest for 3-5 hours. During the trip, visitors will be presented with natural scenery that is still very beautiful, one of which we are presented with a view of the waterfall that we can see while on the way.
